Community Resource Mapping Toolkit
Purpose:
This toolkit, developed by Futures Without Violence, is for service providers to identify potential community partners and explore opportunities to improve services through collaboration strategies. This Community Resource Mapping Toolkit can aid service providers and community collaborations to:
- Recognize the needs of survivors;
- Discern internal individual and organizational capacity and resources;
- Identify services, resources, point persons, and gaps to support survivors; and
- Explore opportunities to improve services through collaboration strategies.
While this resource is not specific to economic empowerment, it provides a process and worksheets to support community mapping for the holistic needs of survivors that enable economic empowerment.
Who is this resource for?
This resource is for organization and/or program leaders administering economic empowerment programs, and program staff who provide direct services. It may be useful in both crisis intervention and long-term services.
