What is this toolkit?
This toolkit includes a set of resources to help staff from economic empowerment programs self-assess their organization’s policies and practices to increase their effectiveness in working with survivors. Four self-assessment tools are paired with adaptable resources (e.g. checklists, questionnaires, information sheets), that can support the enhancement or modification of economic empowerment programs for survivors.
How can the toolkit help programs?
This toolkit will help program staff consider:

The extent to which they ask about participants’ economic empowerment needs and goals and integrate this feedback into programming.

How well economic empowerment program activities align with the intended outcomes.

How programs can identify and interact with existing with community resources and industries.

The level and types of training and support needed for staff implementing these programs.
