Who should use the toolkit?
This toolkit is designed for staff in victim service provider agencies that provide economic empowerment programs for adult survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence, stalking, or human trafficking. This toolkit may also be helpful to service providers considering or already working to add economic empowerment programming to their scope of work.
Note
Some of the resources included in this toolkit may apply to young adults but would likely require adaptation.
Which resources are a good fit for my organization or me?
The toolkit resources are flexible. How you use them may depend on:
- Whether your organization focuses on short- or long-term programming for survivors. Economic empowerment programming can take many forms and can be to integrated into both short-term crisis stabilization and longer-term services.
- Your role at your organization. Not every tool or resource will be appropriate for every organization. Please use or adapt resources to work for your organization and your clients.
